We will be looking into the complex region that is a meeting, a convergence of many bodily systems, the main structures that gives us stability as well as mobility. It is the seat or base of the spinal column as well as the outlet of the sacral plexus, and the container of the gestation of life. This whole region is the locus of the apana vayu. In the yogic tradition the apana vayu is the downward-moving vital energy, governing all forms of elimination (physical, mental & energetic). It promotes grounding, stability, and release. It controls excretory functions like urination, defecation, menstruation, and childbirth, as well as the release of stale thoughts, emotions, and toxins.
The main requirement will be curiosity and the willingness to examine through experimentation. As well as teachers and trainees, this workshop is suitable for experienced students who have practiced regularly for the past two years.
This workshop was held at Redfern Yoga Space on 28/02/2026.
The recordings are available for 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
